As an existing partner for their in-store packaging and a contributor to their recycled packaging efforts, it was clear Anthropologie was ready to replace their large paper bags with a reusable tote. With GRS-certified materials already in production for their sister brand, Urban Outfitters, the transition made perfect sense for Anthro to explore this next.

- Reusable Gift Bags? Check: What began as a limited-edition holiday gift tote has now become a permanent in-store offering. Featuring all the best elements of the XL reusable tote—plus a drawstring closure and custom hang tag—the bag was such a hit that Anthropologie added it to their everyday shopper lineup. Made from GRS-certified PPNW, it’s perfect for gifting and doubles as a spacious, reusable drawstring pouch.
- The Artwork Stays in the Picture: Anthropologie’s paper bags have long been recognized for their distinctive artwork—resembling watercolor paintings and textured mixed-media designs. Preserving that signature aesthetic was essential as they transitioned to a softer, reusable material. To ensure the same level of quality, color, and detail, we partnered closely with our trusted vendors to perfect the printing process. Despite the challenges of working with soft fabrics, we found solutions that allowed for a seamless shift from paper to reusable—without compromising the artistry.
