Our History

Laying the Foundation

Just 35 years ago, a student majoring in history named Irwin Abraham, received an offer from his uncle to work at a packaging company. Little did he know that this opportunity would plant the seeds for what eventually blossomed into Prime Line Packaging.

Surrounded by the world of packaging, Irwin honed his skills as both an entrepreneur and a visionary. He developed a unique talent for predicting changes within the industry and capitalizing on them.

With tireless dedication and an eye toward sustainability, the business quickly emerged as the premier distributor of brown paper bags within the tri-state area.

In 2007 it became clear to Irwin that it was time to spread his wings and create a lasting legacy of his own.

Premium Printing Professionals

Alongside two co-founders, Prime Line Packaging was established within the walls of a modest office space. Their objective was simple: satisfy premium packaging clients.

Through strategic planning and investment in resources such as sourcing networks and an in-house design department, they successfully navigated through some of the toughest economic struggles, such as COVID-19, port strikes, and tariffs.

Expansion, Growth, and New Horizons

The initial team of three individuals has significantly expanded, now comprising more than 30 people.

Their operations have grown to occupy a considerable space while seeking new opportunities and venturing into beauty and food packaging.

Alongside this expansion, they have also widened their audience by exploring uncharted markets and channels like Amazon.
