RPA Trade Show 2014

Mark your calendars! Trade show season is rapidly approaching. Prime Line Packaging will be represented at both The RPA Trade Show (Retail Packaging Association) show and Globalshop this March.

Trade shows are great for retailers trying to build a client base as well as veterans in an industry. They are a place of connecting with others in their field and seeing what the current trends are as well the types of products that are out on the market. Not only can you see the latest and greatest in innovation, but as a retailer, you can also connect with potential clients. Consumers looking for someone to conceptualize their vision are also encouraged to attend the show. Since you can meet potential clients at these events, it is important that your brand is well represented.

Our first big show of the year is the RPA Trade Show. It will be held from March 5th-7th in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

Who should attend this show?

The RPA Trade Show is intended for manufacturers and distributors to display their packaging for retail, food service, and industrial industries. Specialists in bags, boxes, labels, tissue, and wrap are among the people who are represented at this show. One of the things that makes this event particularly special for us, is that Prime Line’s own Steve Gitlin is on the board of directors for it!

Since being found in 1989, RPA has strived to be a place of idea exchange and innovation among manufacturers, distributors, and other creative packaging specialists. Its founders: Bob Bartz, Rudy Oswald, Michael Robertson, Ken Trottere, and Richard Vogel, were frustrated at the lack of trade shows specific to the packaging industry. Not being able to network with people nationwide, they got together and started the show started in 1990. In addition to holding the show, RPA encourages the next generation who are interested in the packaging industry by awarding two annual scholarships, the RPA Golden Future Scholarship and the Dave Haber Memorial Scholarship.
